Warriors Bounce Back Against Central Noble

Wawasee rebounded off last week’s loss to Plymouth by heading to Central Noble with a decisive victory on Tuesday night.  Varsity won 4-1 and JV swept their matches, winning 3-0.

Varsity singles #2 Nathan Perek defeated his opponent in 3 sets and #3 Cameron Brill won in straight sets.  The #1 doubles team of Cal Heinisch and Tim Conley beat Central Noble’s #1 team, finishing in a second set tiebreaker. The Warrior’s #2 doubles team of Evan Krueger and Dylan Staley won the most decisive match of the night 6-1, 6-0, in under 45 minutes of match play.

Three JV singles matches were played.  Chase Jones won 8-1, Trevor Haessig won 8-4 and Graham Perek won 8-2.

The Warriors, who are now 3-1, hit the road again Thursday to face off against West Noble.
