Lady Warriors Week Reviewed: Into the Buzzsaw

Wawasee’s winning season ran into a buzzsaw in week 3 as it faced two state-ranked teams (Concord and Warsaw), along with always tough Northridge and Manchester teams.

Tuesday (Northridge)

The Lady Warrior’s #1 doubles teams of Kabrea Rostochak and Courtney Larson secured the night’s only win, by winning 6-3, 6-3.  #1 singles Kendra Doerr battled into a deciding third set, falling short, but turning in a strong conference showing.

Abby Morehead and Ava Harker were the lone JV winners at #4 doubles.

JV narrowly lost 3-4.  Winners for Wawasee included Tate Cowan (#2 singles), Abby Morehead and Anah Sommers (#2 doubles) and Abby Morehead and Ava Harker (#3 doubles).
